company history:

I was born into a family of seamstresses and have always loved fabric. At the age of 3 I was given my first sewing machine, and caught the sewing bug from my mom who would create the best halloween costumes out of scraps of fabric.

I am an Interior Designer by trade and have found that my love and passion for fabric has always been with me. My sewing designs are based on a series of patterns that have an emphasis on design, craftmanship, and great fabric. I love making clothes for babies & kids that are “cute as a button” and practicle. All the clothes are handcrafted with locally sourced fabrics (organic when possible).

Buttoncini is a made up word originating from a combination of the english word ‘button’ and the italian word for small buttons ‘bottoncini’, which became ‘buttoncini’.
